The size of TV is measure in diagonal length of screen. This is the distance from one corner of screen to the other corner. A 32-inch TV would mean that the diagonal length of screen is 32 inches. The most common display area for 19-inch television is 376x301mm or 409x230mm. There is a frame around television screen. This frame differs from manufacturer to manufacturer. So, the actual diagonal size of television is different and includes the frame as well. There is a newer design feature called slim bezel, where the frame is very thin and gives the television a nice outlook. In general, the approximate range for length, height and thickness are: 500 to 540mm, 350 to 440mm, 65 to 90mm respectively. Most of the 19-inch television come with adjustable frames. While placed on a table, you can adjust the height and orientation of screen. Before buying a television, you should look out for all these features.
